It's definitely something that makes you a little easier to pick out in a crowd. You're a great teacher, though, in the future.

Can't really speak to the height thing since everyone tends to be taller than me. Makes seeing over heads kinda difficult.

I don't know if it helps or makes things weird if I say you were one of my favorite professors.

It helps. It might be a bit weird but it means a lot of hear that. It means I do something right.

And I’m glad it helps. Really. Hard to call something weird after everything. I mean, when my powers grew, the super weird got less weird.

There's an awful lot of things to bump your head on, too. I've taken to slouching. Terrible habit of the tall. Or ape-like. Either way.

I would imagine something like running across water and being non-applicable to certain rules of gravity would already apply. How did they grow to start desensitizing you to 'super weird'?

[It's not something she's really openly shared, not here. But, this was someone from home - someone she trusted in the future. It'd be okay to share what had been something of a secret.]

I can send people's consciousness back in time. Usually it's only about 10 minutes back, but I managed to send Logan back to the 70's to help stop the Sentinels before they were even made.

Changing history tends to make other things look a little tame.

Phasing people through time is quite a feat. It must have been extremely difficult to master. My compliments to your teachers.

I suppose I'll be meeting this Logan of yours eventually, if you've sent him closer to our direction. What was the selection process for this? It would have to be someone that was in the time itself but I can't imagine any mind would be able to go that far back without suffering consequences. It would be a strenuous process, correct?

I didn't have a choice. It was that or watch everyone die before they came for me. We did a crash course and then it was sink or swim time.

He regenerates faster than the damage so he could heal himself through it. It didn't help with the pain, but he's the only one who could survive it. It's hard on both him and me - it can be hard to maintain the connection if he gets too stressed out.

The joy of learning is lost when one is forced to do so too quickly. I'm sorry.

I hope what you sent with him had reached us, even if this place may remove need for your efforts. The utmost respect for having done something that bends the rules of time and space under the worst of circumstances. Very few could have ever managed.

From what I've heard, it did. It was stopped back in your time but I don't know if we managed it quickly enough to bring everyone that died back in our time.

Guess we'll see.

And I almost didn't pull it off. I lost the connection with Logan at one point and he almost killed me in the process. The whole thing was so risky.

Have you spoken to Erik about it? Might be cathartic to know the other end for certain.

A risk one would have to take in those circumstances. Are you alright now? They fix injuries upon arrival?

I plan to, the Professor suggested it. I just haven't had a chance yet.

[Or more accurately, she hasn't worked herself up to reaching out yet.]

Everything was almost healed when I got here. It was pretty bad. I have a wicked scar, though.

There's no rush. I don't think he's likely to go anywhere.

They can't heal scars? Curious. But I'm glad you're better. If it ever bothers you, please speak up about it. I'm not sure what methods they're using just yet. There don't appear to be side-effects when they heal major or permanent injuries but it's safer to keep an eye out.

I'm glad they didn't, it made me take things slow when I got here. But, I'll definitely say something if I have any issues. If you ever wanna check out the scars, let me know.
